  • When am I expected to pay for the repairs on my device? Before or after?
Since anything can come up during repair, we only expect you to pay for the repair after it has been completed. However more extensive repairs or diagnostics require a $40 bench fee before the repair is started, but that fee will ultimately go towards the repair itself provided we can fix your device.
  • How long do repairs usually take?
We offer same day phone and tablet repair! Most smartphone repairs are completed within an hour of drop off. Exceptions usually including liquid damage cleanings or more extensive repairs such as back glass replacement.

  • What should I do if I drop my device in water?
Take your device out of the water and power the device off as soon as possible. Dry off the outside of the device as best as you can without powering the device back on or pressing down any buttons. If possible, disconnect the battery. Then feel free to bring your device into our store and we can take care of it from there!
  • When should I have my phone's battery serviced?
Phone batteries start to deteriorate after 1-2 years of regular usage. Common signs of battery deterioration include: - Needing to charge multiple times per day. - Phone powering off at low battery percentages.
  • Why is my phone not charging?
If your charging cable feels loose inside the charge port then in most cases it just needs to be cleaned out of any debris that is inside the port. If your charging cable feels snug in the port and your phone is still not charging then the port itself will need to be replaced.
  • My phone is turned on, but the screen won't work! What should I do?
If your device is turned on but is not displaying a picture, that means the LCD is faulty or damaged and you need a screen repair. If your device is turned on and displaying but the touch isn't responsive, often times you just have to hit the volume up button, the volume down button, and then hold the power button down until your device restarts. This usually fixes the issue. If it does not then you will need a screen repair. If your device has a cracked screen you will need a screen repair to prevent any further issues with your device. At Fargo Phone Repair, we can typically get your device's screen repaired within the hour you drop it off to us! Our screen repairs also come with a lifetime warranty covering any screen not caused by liquid damage or physical damage.
